Survey Results

First off, thank you for taking the time to answer the survey. The responses directly influenced our plans for 2025. I want to make this YOUR event:

In 2024…

  • You most enjoyed:

    • The novel format (vs reports and conferences)

    • The engagement

    • The FUN!

  • You least enjoyed:

    • Facing off against companies much bigger than yourself (and their employees voting for them)

    • The fact that no product capabilities were highlighted

  • 81% of you found that a 2-week event is “the perfect length”

  • You gave the event an average 8/10 satisfaction rating

In 2025…

  • 100% of you want to participate in the tournament

  • 95% of you want to record a demo on LinkedIn Live to support voting

  • 96% of you support multiplying votes based on company size

  • All of you are looking for awareness metrics (views, Linkedin page growth, etc), lead gen, demo bookings, etc. leading to sales.

2025 Format and Schedule

Based on your feedback, here’s what I am putting forward for 2025:

ProcureTech Cup “Regular Season”

This new feature allows 25 select companies to showcase their innovative solutions ahead of the ProcureTech Cup tournament, offering a valuable education to voters and the wider procurement community.

  • Friday, September 13th 2024 to Friday, March 21st 2025

    • 3-week holiday break at the end of 2024 calendar year

  • Every Friday @ Noon EST, a ProcureTech Brand will be invited to demo their solution during a 30 mins, regular show, covering

    • Company Overview

    • Unique Value Proposition for procurement

    • Solution Demo

    • Q&A

  • These will be broadcast live on LinkedIn and YouTube and then published for posterity on the tournament website.

  • A Lead Gen URL/Form will be used to direct traffic your way

  • There will only be 25 demo spots this year (one per week) to ensure we can deliver quality in this new format

  • The goal of these shows is to:

    • Pique curiosity from procurement professionals

    • Drive higher engagement for the tournament

    • Have the sign up for further conversations/demos

    • Support the voting in the tournament phase

ProcureTech Cup Tournament

This is the main event held on LinkedIn in March 2025.

  • Monday, March 24th 2025 to Monday, April 7, 2025

    • 2-week tournament hosted on LinkedIn

  • Held in parallel with the NCAA college Basketball tournament in the US

  • All rounds last 23 hrs (9am EST to 8am EST the following day) to give everyone a chance to vote globally

  • Scores/Votes will be multiplied by company size (votes will be worth more for companies with less employees) - Exact factor to be confirmed; currently modeling.

  • Employees can vote for their own companies

  • A portion of proceeds will be donated to Big Brothers and Big Sisters

Your Involvement as a ProcureTech Brand

As a participant in the tournament, your job is to:

  • Promote your participation in the tournament and mobilize votes for your company through your existing marketing and internal channels

  • If you make it to the Final Four, participate in the LinkedIn Live solution overview on Friday, April 4th 2025

  • If (When?) you win, participate in the LinkedIn Live champions announcement

  • Follow-up with leads generated through the tournament as per your internal sales processes

If you select a “regular season” demo spot, you will also have to:

  • Select a demo date (first come, first served)

  • Prepare a 30-min presentation for LinkedIn Live:

    • Company overview

    • Unique Value Proposition

    • 15-min Solution Demo (you choose which functionalities you want to highlight)

  • Participate in your LinkedIn Live Demo with me; banter and Q&A guaranteed.

  • Field leads generated by the exercise

Your involvement is not more complicated than this! My team will coordinate everything else.

2025 Pricing

The 2025 tournament will still feature 64 spots.

You can choose to snatch up one of the 25 “regular season” demo spots (which include a tournament spot) or register for one of the 39 “tournament only” spots.

Demo dates will be attributed on a first come, first served basis (available every Friday from September 2024 to March 2025).

Next Steps - Registration!

  • In recognition of their 2024 success, the top 10 finishers from 2024 will receive 1-day priority registration starting on Tuesday, August 13th 2024 at Noon EST (Airbase, Coupa, Fairmarkit, SuperNegotiate, SpendHQ, Mercanis, EcoVadis, Veridion, Zip & Supplier IO)

  • 2 spots are reserved for Pure Procurement Newsletter partners (Tonkean & Focal Point)

  • The remaining 52 slots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis as of Wednesday, August 14th 2024 at Noon EST

  • Prices will increase as of September 2nd (if spots are still available…)

  • Payments will be processed by credit card via Stripe (If you need to proceed via another payment method, I will provide an alternative method to reserve your spot).

100+ ProcureTech brands have expressed interest in participating in this year’s ProcureTech Cup.
