Demo Format

Every demo will have the same format.

Maximum time: 30 mins.

These videos will be used to:

  1. Drive leads your way immediately after the demo

  2. Support voting in the March 2025 ProcureTech Cup tournament

The objective is to be quick, clear and punchy!

Standard Agenda

  • Welcome and intros (2 mins)

  • Company Overview (2 mins)

  • Your solution’s Unique Value Proposition / Ideal Customer Profile (3 mins)

  • Solution Demo (15 mins)

    • Please do not attempt to demo your entire solution. Create 1, maybe 2 demo scenarios that show off the unique value proposition for the ICP you just described previously.

    • The objective is to generate interest for a full, tailored discovery call with you.

    • Practice and keep this as tight as possible (minimize screen changes, clicks, etc.)

  • Solution Market Mapping to the Pure Procurement ProcureTech One-Pager (Up to 8 mins)

    • Discussion together to explain where your solution maps to a generic Procurement process (e.g. Do you support sourcing processes? Contracting? P2P?)

    • The purpose here is to give regular viewers a sense of where your solution sits on the Procurement Value Chain.

What procurement business processes does your solution support/optimize?

I will reach out to ensure we are on the same page for market mapping before your demo.

Otherwise, you are in full control of the messaging and scope of what you want to communicate in the show.

Next Steps

  1. Have one person on your team:

    • Reply to this email to confirm/accept your demo date

      • Put a placeholder in relevant team member calendars

    • Confirm the emails of demo participants for {{COMPANY|}} (I can add them to the distribution list)

    • Provide 2 high quality company logo PNGs (light/dark) for graphics

  2. Grab this template and promote your ProcureTech Cup Regular Season participation on social media

You will receive the following communications as your demo approaches:

  • 2 weeks out - Demo reminder with standard format, formal calendar invitation and draft “market mapping talking points” (see above)

  • 1 week out - Second demo reminder

  • 1 day out - Third demo reminder

  • 1 hour out - Fourth demo reminder

  • 5-15 mins before stream - Log on to ensure we are all ready, ask last minute questions.

  • Demo - 30 mins according to standard agenda

  • Monday following demo - You will receive a media package with assets to promote your demo (Canva templates, LinkedIn Live and YouTube links ,etc.)

  • 1 week following demo - You will receive statistics from the stream and a list of attendees.

Hopefully, this gives you a good idea of what to expect for the regular season.

A few last things:

  • Please don’t mention any competitors/partners in your demos unless it’s to sing their praises.

  • You can share, reuse and repost any ProcureTech Cup assets as you wish.

  • I greatly encourage *respectful* banter between the brands as we run through the season. Healthy rivalries, recurring themes and jokes will all serve to stimulate engagement.

  • Have fun with it!
